This stickshot slingshot is made from stainless steel. If you like to learn (shang)Hai style frameless shooting style. It is a good choice to start from this stickshot slingshot. It help you practice how to hold ammo and release the ammo safely without hitting your finger. Your thumb is hidden under the steel.
Also you can shoot more thick/strong tubes with large ammo if you would like to use it for hunting. It is really cool to shoot with it or hang it as a big pendant.
In the pictures, you will see clearly how to catch the ammo(not the pouch) and pass the tubes on top.
Also we have the dedicated pouch (hai style) in this link.

Ayeee (verified owner) –
The machining on this stickshot is close to perfect. Every edge has been rounded leaving no sharp edges.
This also is true for the hook holding the tubes.
The surface is polished almost to a mirror finish.
The shape really feels comfortable in the hand.
Shooting with it is a whole new experience and (at least for me) harder than a “normal” slingshot.
I got a model of the later batch. That means, as stated in the description already, the scales are made from G10. Mine is black G10 and I have no information if there are other colors. If I had to guess, I would say all are black.
But there are a few differences more, that I want to point out.
As opposed to the picture, where it says it is 14 mm thick at the upper half, the stickshot is only 11 mm thick. That leaves a bit more of the thumb exposed on the sides of the thumbguard.
The length of the stickshot is 120 mm instead of the shown 128 mm.
The stick weighs 114 g (most likely because it is thinner).
Another difference is that the “channel” in which the tubes run, is shown on the pictures to be rectangular, with the outer lips forming some kind of wall. Mine arrived with a deep concave channel, almost a half circle, which allows the tubes to roll over and off the tip. I am sure this is just some practice issue and will get better over time, but I feel I should leave this information here.
Overall I really like this stickshot and look forward to practice a lot with this.
4 stars instead of 5 stars for the differences in measurements and design of the tube channel.
